Feeling stuck somewhere I’d rather not be. It’s happen to me twice recently. The first time was at a coworker’s farewell party during a particularly uninspiring speech. The second was on my way to the Dane County Farmers’ Market for breakfast when I got stuck behind a train on John Nolen Drive. Both times I started to feel antsy until it struck me: why not take advantage of being stuck in one place, take out my camera and see what I can shoot? The resulting photos – of centerpieces, chandeliers, and the train – were worth it.
I am grateful for the reminder that there is always a way to change boring situation into an enjoyable opportunity.
