Our plot in the Atwood Community gardens has proven to be fecund for the third year in a row. I’ve already enjoyed strawberries and raspberries this year, and I am grateful to add vegetables to the 2008 harvest, specifically cauliflower and African Blue Basil. I normally grow Italian, but this year Diene suggested we add a new plant to the mix. A good choice – the plant is three times the size of the Italian basil. What that says about the world, I’ll let you conjecture.
