“Reading” while driving

This morning, I woke up in a hotel room outside of Chicago. I am presenting at the local AAGP chapter and came in last night so that I could enjoy a slower travel pace and not be at the mercy of unpredictable I-90 traffic. I listened to Stephen King’s On Writing while driving and nearly finished it. I think audio books are great – be entertained while driving and spare myself the challenge of either finding new public radio stations from one broadcast area to the next or tolerating commercials on pop radio stations or remembering to bring music cds I am not sick of.

Today, I am grateful for audio books.
