Madison is the kind of town that supports more than one underground dining club. These are the kinds of things I read about, but never actually figure out how to find. That is why I try to surround myself with people who are much hipper (and more driven to actually make things happen) than I am. This weekend, I had the luck to go with two awesome friends to brunch where we ate the most divine brunch I’ve had in…well, maybe ever. The cook opened up her dining room to us, the company was great, and the food divine. (Did I say that already?) Here is a photo of the asparagus mushroom tarts we ate (only one course of many) snagged from the cook’s website. It was an ideal way to spend a Sunday morning, and I feel like I’ve been let in on a great secret (and now I go and blab it to the internet.) Grateful for friends, food, and the fact that there was no bacon I had to dodge at the breakfast!
